Family Love

When family life is ruled by love and compassion for generations

I observed a family of three generations. They all seemed to be closed to one another.

A friend of mine who had interviewed all 3 generations gave me more detailed information about the family.

Grandmother (now in her late 70) was a teacher.

Grandfather was an ingenier

Father an anthropologist and a musician.

Mother a musician.

Oldest son is a musician.

Let’s talk about the son. In a interview he mentioned that in their home he has never heard anyone raising their voice. (Let alone their hand). He said: there have been misunderstandings, disagreements but always the matter was discussed peacefully.

Thinking about this kind of upbringing I understood why this family gives us this sensation of peace, connection, love and mutual support.

A famous artist walking in public with his grandmother on his arm, holding her hand and pressing it kindly. When he received an award he dedicated it to his grandmother. He walked the red carpet with both his grandmothers. Honoring our ancestors is something that has been lost in the western world with all its consequences, good and bad.
