Are TIME and LISTENING related?
How have I learned to listen to others?
When was I taught how to listen?
Who taught me how to listen "correctly"?
Have we all been taught in the same way?
Probably not.
But we all learned early on that we had to „look, listen and be quiet“
How long am I willing to listen to someone?
Longer, if a person is sharing knowledge that is of interest to me?
Does this mean that knowledge is more precious/important than time?
How long do I speak, and what signs does my audience have to display before I understand that they are no longer listening to me?
How angry and frustrated do I get when they no longer listen?
Am I „a know it all“? Sure am!
So just how much time am I willing to give to listen to someone who is talking?
